HydroFLOW USA is the exclusive U.S. distributor of the unique HydroFLOW water conditioners that are powered by the patented Hydropath technology.  These environmentally-friendly devices have been distributed throughout the world for many years, but only recently entered the U.S. market. Over twenty years ago, Hydropath Technology, Ltd,. Located in the UK, invented a process that treats fluids by inducing a robust yet harmless signal of +- 150 kHz through plumbing systems made of any material. The pipe, and/or the fluid inside of it, acts as a conduit which allows the signal to propagate. The induction of the signal prevents scale and biofilm from accumulating inside plumbing systems and gradually removes existing deposits. This preventable action significantly reduces energy, chemical, water and maintenance costs which extends the service life of equipment and pipes.

Total Water Management consolidates several components of a cooling tower operation for the benefit of the operator. Water technology applications extend the use of water, using sensors to automatically collect data so that performance is continuously measured and analyzed.

Internet of Things (IoT) enabled sensors and data management. Wireless hardware and cloud-based software provide instant insight into water system performance through real-time data collection and streaming. The system allows secure access to operating data for analysis and trending. Details are viewed on a mobile device or desktop, with email or SMS status alerts. Data analytics supports predictive maintenance to extend asset life and water efficiency over the long term. These innovations improve water conservation, reduce spending, reduce energy consumption, and increase operational efficiency. Our mobile app records notes, data and photos by technicians with access to real-time operating data on locations.

ElectroCell  high efficiency filtration system eliminates 90-95% of all Total Suspended Solids (TSS) down to one micron, with no filter media. Electrostatic precipitation electrode chambers enhance thermal transfer while keeping circulating systems ultra-clean and efficient at flow rates exceeding 600 gpm.   

ElectroCell is applied to full volume and side-stream filtration for cooling towers, boilers and water systems that circulate water. The results include significant reduction in blow-down since the precipitation chambers bleed-off small quantities of sediments, significant reduction of chemistry since TSS particles (scale and bio) are reduced in size to 1 micron and below, and energy efficiencies increase by more than 10%.

The combination of the HydroFLOW and ElectroCell filtration systems generally reduce water use by 50% or more, 75% chemistry reduction, and kWh reduction by 10-12%. Further, the ElectroCell system is controlled by PLCs that are accessible securely online, with a range of sensors to inform smart building management systems with real-time data. HydroFlow and ElectroCell provide a step change in HVAC efficiency with IoT connectivity that monitors efficiencies with manual control. 

In-field real-time water analysis that provides water chemistry and speciated (SRB, APB, others) bacteria during the site visit resulting in actionable real-time data and early stage detection of performance issues. HydroTech real-time analysis supports oilfield biocide validation, component disinfection auditing, cooling tower bacteria testing, and a range of commercial applications. Our clients use the HydroTech app for collecting data manually and with use of IOT enabled sensors. Their data are available for their own analysis and they receive scheduled automated summary reports.

Technology evaluations are focused on examining new ideas or new applications of existing improved technologies to develop applications in the water market by segment, with potential implementation strategies that will benefit the provider as well as the stakeholders in each market segment. 

High volume water evaporation that is a cost-effective disposal option for oil and gas produced water, mining, detention ponds and large volumes of water (~1,000 BBL or >44,000 gallons/ day). HydroTech accelerates evaporation processes that returns water to the environment rather than losing it to a disposal well, and avoiding associated environmental and seismic concerns. Particulates and precipitates are concentrated in the water impoundment and overspray and drift are controlled to prevent unwanted environmental impacts. The mobile systems can be deployed for short and long term requirements. Projects may include training of customer personnel for longer term operations as required.

Large scale frac water recycling systems that achieve full-field water requirements in terms of volume and water quality. HydroTech has 30 years’ experience with completions, exploration and production. We believe that significant costs can be realized when a collaborative strategy between the drilling, completions, production, facilities and reservoir departments is developed that defines the water quality used for completions, sourcing, recycling guidance, disposal objectives and the practices for interdepartmental expenditures that avoid wasted water due to intentional planning. HydroTech consults with operators to plan, design and operate centralized and temporary water treatment facilities.
