Boiler Scale Control
HydroFLOW will prevent and control the formation of scale and deposits that cause tube failures, restrict circulation, reduce system efficiency, and compromise a boiler system’s reliability. Boiler scale forms directly on heat transfer surfaces when constituent solubility limits are exceeded due to temperature and pressure, and the resulting compounds precipitate onto the tube surfaces as hard scale.
HydroFLOW controls hard scale with a sustained 150 kHz frequency that uses water in the lines to carry the signal in both directions, causing mineral ions to form suspended clusters that turn into “soft scale” crystals when temperature or pressure changes occur. The suspended crystals will prevent scale from building up in pipes and on heating elements, thus increasing heat transfer efficiency, significant reduction of scale reducers, biocides, corrosion inhibitors, and the frequency of blowdowns.
